Skymark B737NG Captains

Skymark Airlines is recruiting Boeing 737NG Captains based at Tokyo Haneda, with new starts from late 2026 onwards.

The contract

Three-year contract plus training. Renewal is highly expected but not guaranteed
Based at Tokyo Haneda (HND), Japan
Commuting contract, with monthly commuting air tickets provided by the airline

Package

Six-figure annual salary
Flight per diem
Accommodation, education and furniture allowances
Worldwide medical insurance

Roster and time off

10 days off per month after completing training
20 days annual leave

Minimum requirements

Valid JCAB or ICAO ATPL with a valid jet type rating
5,000 hours total flight time, including 1,500 hours jet PIC
1,500 hours PIC on one of the accepted aircraft types below
Current or recent airline experience, with your last flight within 12 months of applying
Valid JCAB or ICAO Class 1 medical certificate
Radio licence issued by an ITU member state
ICAO English Level 4 or higher
100 hours cross-country PIC, 200 hours cross-country, 100 hours night and 75 hours instrument
Under 55 if type rated on the B737, under 50 if not type rated
BMI below 30
Drug test (swab) at interview

ATPLs from countries where JCAB cannot obtain timely licence verification (including the Middle East, China, Turkey and Iran) are not accepted. JCAB ATPL holders receive special consideration.

B737NG/EFIS/MAX, B767, B777, B787, B744, A320/A330, MD80/MD90/MD-11, EMB145-195, CRJ200-1000NG, F100.

Interviews

Interviews are held in Tokyo and scheduled around your availability, with hotel accommodation provided. Interviews are now being scheduled for 2026 and 2027.
